Here is a funny story about a bridal shower invitation. There were some close friends of mine getting married. Per normal, someone close to them decided to give a shower. The party was planned and the invitations were ordered. Somehow, the addresses on all the invitations got all mixed up with the names on the inside of the invitations. So, none of the names on the outside matched the names on the inside. Imagine the confusion. Your first thought is that you were not who the invitation was intended for. So what’s the harm in that? See, many people were not now sure they were invited to the bridal shower at all. That’s where it got really ugly. The last thing you want is your friends and family confused about if you wanted them at your bridal shower. So, in the end an entire new batch of bridal shower invitations had to be sent out.
